Baaghj continues to narrate the much-less-known life of Fauzia Batool before she became the internet sensation Qandeel that destroyed her. We now know Fauzia Batool was an outspoken woman, not taking any nonsense from anyone until she fell in love with Abid, and it's for his sake, she is now choosing to stay quiet at everything.
This week's episode truly showed how a woman becomes willing to accept everything for a man she loves and how easily she changes, molds herself to make him happy.
But that certianly doesn't seem the case with Abid. Does it? Let's recap 5th episode of Baaghi which has everyone glued to their screens, owing to its amazing execution and of course Saba Qamar's brilliant portrayal of Baloch.
With Fauzia and Abid married, it is Abid's mother ( Seemi Raheal) who makes sure that her son keeps his wife well under his control. Maybe she knows Fauzia has a volatile nature, more aggressive than anyone in the village and she wants Abid to have the upper hand. Abid goes on to narrate the same to Fauzia, pressing her to obey him and it's at the very moment Fauzia's dreams come tumbling down because her Abid too turns out like every other man she didn't want to marry.
But since she loves him, Fauzia has melted. She cooks and cleans to make him happy with her mother in law still not satisfied. She continues to taunt Fauzia which she ignores because of Abid. Fauzia is changing but Abid, continues his usual tactics. He flirts with his customers and it has now dawned upon us that this person is nothing but a cheat.
With Baaghi entering a new phase what remains to be seen is how quickly will Fauzia discover the truth about her husband who poses to love her but cant keep his eyes of other women.
Ali Kazmi is amazing as Abid. His talent shines clear in Baaghi and for that kudos to Farooq Rind who has utilized his talent well. Saba Qamar needs no praise because she does her absolute best at everything. Working with Rind again after Besharram, Saba and Farooq are creating an eye opener and keeping us glued to our screens.
