Mujhay Jeenay Doh is a serial which sheds light on women empowerment, child marriages and such serious yet untouched issues prevailing in the society. Already being impressed with its trailer, we were expecting a lot from Mujhay Jeenay Doh's OST, and guess what, we are not disappointed.

Lyrics have been taken from Waris Shah's Heer and totally complements the theme of the serial.

Director Angeline Malik has collaborated with Center for Communications Programs Pakistan (CCPP) to bring these social issues before the public, to show the right from wrong. The trailer itself looked quite intense and just by watching it, one can have the idea of what the story revolves around. After Baaghi, this is another commendable initiative from Urdu1 to highlight social issues, an initiative which can positive bring change in the society.

The song flows with all the emotions in it and gives you goosebumps with its intensity. Waris Shah's Heer is based on a tragic love story, the drama itself talks about the tragic instances, betrayal, pain and a lot more that's been showcased in the serial.

Singers Arieb and Gulshan Jehan has sung the OST and both of artists' vocals fit perfectly with the theme and the lyrics. One can feel the pain and agony in their voices.Arieb is known for the sufi kalams he has sung. This is one of his best songs.

With a stellar cast and impressive storyline and a powerful OST to match, Mujhay Jeenay Doh is off to a good start.

With Nadia Jamil being on board again, we're excited for this drama which airs from tomorrow at 8 PM only on Urdu1.
